When it comes to creativity, the sky's the limit. Well, actually, it goes beyond even the sky. There is no limit. Each day, we are all creative in some way. Don't take my word for it. This great philosopher will tell you the same thing:



I work in two separate fields, both of which are mostly considered "creative", but often I say I myself am not creative. Turns out that's not true. I face new problems every day, and each time I come up with a unique solution to these problems, I'm exercising my creativity.

DA is not deleting accounts!

I'll leave this to y2jenn, as she summed it up so nicely:
Administrative steps are being taken to hopefully put a stop to submissions containing the rumor.
DA is not deleting accounts on May 21st. Nor is DA ever going to delete accounts on any future May 21sts. This is an old stupid rumor and should not be taken seriously. 

In the very unlikely event that DA's stance on removing unused accounts ever changes, an official announcement will be made at . You are not going to be removed because you don't use your account a lot. You are not going to be removed because you didn't copy and paste the poorly written 'warning' to your journal. You are not going to be banned if you posted the 'warning' because you were genuinely concerned. You are only in risk of administrative action if it's found you are posting it just to cause a disturbance in the community. 
Stop posting the 'warning' in your journal. 

Do not post it "just in case". 

You can help by telling the deviants you see posting the journal that it's false. Feel free to link them to mine or any of the other staffers' journals on the issue.

Seriously, folks, if you didn't hear it from someone with the fancy little staff symbol next to their name, it's simply not true. I encourage everyone to be skeptical of things like this. Ask questions, get the true story, don't just buy in because people say so.

Oh, and while we're at it, SOPA and TPP will not shut down deviantART. Go ahead and oppose it, but do the research to know why it's a bad thing.
